KOMASU D58P BULLDOZER CRAWLER CAT

 

The 1999 – Komatsu D58P Bulldozer Crawler Cat is one of Driftpile First Nation’s heavy equipment machinery. It was purchased in 1999 and it is used for:

 

·        Building of roads

·        Site clearing for housing and/or capital projects

·        Hired out to oil and gas projects off the reserve

·        Hired out to do roads off reserve

 

CHAMPION 740A GRADER

 

The 1993 – Champion 740A Grader is one of the Driftpile First Nation’s heavy equipment machinery. It was purchased in 1998 and it is used for:

 

·        Maintaining our community roads yearly (winter/summer)

·        Hired to do roads off reserve

 

FORD VACUUM TRUCK

 

The 2001 – Ford Vacuum Truck was purchased in 2001 and it is used for:

 

·        Pump out our sewer holding tanks for First Nation buildings

·        Hired out off reserve

 

WATER TRUCK

 

The 1995 - Ford LN800 Water Truck is one of Driftpile First Nation’s heavy equipment machinery. It was purchased in 1995 and it is used for:

 

·        To provide water for Driftpile First Nation community homes

·        Homes not part of out existing water line

 

FIRE TRUCK

 

The 1985 Ford fire truck is part of our fire prevention department. It was purchased in the year 1986. Its purpose is to prevent fires in community from spreading/expanding to other community member’s homes, and for the controlling of grass fires during the burning seasons.
